Carnival program

On Friday, June 6, you can participate in Nørrebro Lake Carnival 2025 from 18-21. In the style of a real Rio bloco, we form a grand samba group and lead a dancing street party along the beautiful lakes, through the LOUD tunnel and into the magic sunset on Queen Louise’s Bridge. You can join as a musician, dancer or just for the party. It is voluntary to join and open for all levels. Costumes are not required. You can change clothes and store your bags and clothes at Union Culture House. After the bloco we get a bit to eat from 21-23.

On Saturday, June 7, Copenhagen Carnival explodes in an inferno of music, dance, costumes, color, skin, glitter and love. This day is our LOUD day. And you will hear music and drums all around you all day. Here you can participate in the traditional Copenhagen Carnival Parade 2025, that goes through Strøget, the famous shopping street, in the heart of Copenhagen from 10-13. Later you can perform with your own show (10-30 minutes) on our big stage and participate in our Mega Samba Jam at Rådhuspladsen, the main town hall square in Central Copenhagen between 12-19. To complete the day, you can party your hearts out in our big Copenhagen Carnival After Party 2025 at Next House Copenhagen from 20-02.

On Sunday, June 8, the carnival moves into the beautiful park, Enghaveparken, in the heart of Copenhagen, where the volume and vibe is a bit more relaxed than Saturdays carnival explosion and the surroundings are child-friendly. Here you can perform on the historical Arne Jacobsen Stage from 12-18. And you can enjoy the park, chill in the grass, explore all the acts, and experience the unique Cuban area with dance floor, DJ's, concerts, salsa and Cuban barbecue.
