With more than 500 artists, 30 free concerts and dance shows, and the traditional Copenhagen Carnival Parade, an audience of more than 10.000 people are presented with folk genres such as samba from Brazil, Tango from Argentina, Folklore ballet from Mexico, Salsa from Cuba, and many more.[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text_size=”fontsize-739966″ text_height=”fontheight-179065″ uncode_shortcode_id=”130341″]Organisation[\/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text text_lead=”small” uncode_shortcode_id=”118944″]Copenhagen Carnival is a nonprofit organisation with over 500 artists and volunteers who perform and work for free to keep Copenhagen Carnival a yearly tradition.<\/p>\n

Each part of the carnival has its own atmosphere – from vibrant street celebrations in the first weekend, to inspiring workshops and talks during the weekdays, and the final weekends magnificent carnival explosion in the historical park, Enghaveparken.<\/p>\n
